What is Unprompted?

There are policy journals that discuss AI, and philosophy journals that briefly mention it. Unprompted was founded to bridge the two: a publication at the intersection of artificial intelligence and philosophy, engaging rigorously with how this technology reshapes what we think, value and owe to one another.

Submissions opened to all King's students, with approximately four months allocated for writing and article development. Articles were invited across three sections: Philosophy, Culture and Aesthetics, and Society, Politics and Law.

Each submission was developed through editorial guidance and peer review. The journal's standard was rigour without sensationalism: to interrogate what is really changing, and what we ought to do about it.

The first issue of Unprompted arrived.
